1. GENERAL
1.1. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.
1.2. The games is designed for 2 to 10 people per room, depending on the room.
1.3 The trademarks and logos displayed on the website are the property of the company. You are not permitted to use these without a written consent of the company and you accept that any such use may constitute an infringement of the relevant proprietor’s rights.
1.4. The website may contain hyperlinks to third party websites. The operation of those websites is out of the company’s control and you may use them at your own risk. The company accepts no liability for any damage arising out of any use of those websites.
1.5. The company collects and stores your personal details without disclosing it to any 3rd party and is dedicated to ensure that the privacy of your personal information is protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
1.6. Due to the nature of the game no recordings can be taken inside the room. That includes (without limitation) the use of mobile phones, recording devices (video and/or audio) and cameras. The use of such a device in the room is not permitted at any time.
1.7. The company expects visitors not to disclose any details of the game directly or indirectly to the public.
1.8. The company may contact you from time to time with offers and promotions via email or phone. If you wish to unsubscribe, please write us an email and we will take your email off our database.
1.9. The company is entitled to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional and/or caused by misuse of items.
1.10. While your are on our premises, you must ensure to conform to our codes and regulations, adopt proper standards of behaviour, and cooperate with our employees.
1.11. The company doesn’t tolerate any kind of bullying or harassment towards its employees.

2. BOOKINGS
2.1. The only language available for the conclusion of a contract online is English.
2.2. Only person(s) who are at least 16 years of age are permitted to book a Game.
2.3 This is a live event game, and once the booking is confirmed, we can not accept any cancellations, reschedules or give any refunds.
2.4. Any purchase on the website is only valid when processed by the company. You shall receive a confirmation once your booking is processed.
2.5. If you wish to transfer your booking(s) into someone else’s name, you must contact the company by either email or telephone at least two hours prior to the start of your booking.
2.6. Bookings may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes or at a premium. If a booking is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the bearer of the booking or the person claiming the right to attend the event will be refused admission.
2.7. You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the Online Booking Form on the website.
2.8. A booking becomes a no-show and entry will be declined if the team is late 15 minutes or more of the booked starting time. In such a situation the money is not refundable and the booking is not changeable.
2.9. Teams are required to show up 15 minutes prior to the booked time in order to have enough time to receive information regarding the rules of the Game.
3.0. If the team is late less than 15 minutes, depending on availability the 60 minutes to escape the room will be decreased.

3. PRICE AND PAYMENT
3.1. The price of a game is stated on the website under the booking section.
3.2. The price is set per person, per room.
3.3. Bookings can be made online.
3.4. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Bookings made by telephone must be followed by online payment, wire transfer or cash at the premises within 24 hours of the booking, otherwise it will be cancelled.
3.5. Only one type of discount or offer can be used with a single booking.

5. SAFETY
5.1. Each attendee will be instructed before their event by one of the employee of the company. After learning the rules of the event, each attendee will participate in the event at their own risk. The company is not liable for any (personal or equipment) damages caused by not following the rules described before the event. Each player agrees to the Terms and Condition of the Game before entering the escape room.
5.2. People under influence of alcohol or drugs might be turned away and their game will be stated as a no-show.
5.3. Drinks and food may not be brought into the event and into the room.
5.4. To be admitted you must confirm the full name of the booker and might be asked to confirm phone number and email address the booking confirmation was sent to.
5.5. Children under the age of 12 will have to be accompanied by at least 1 adult per event.
5.6. Players aged over 12 but under 18, we require an adult aged 18+ to at least remain on the premises.
5.7. The safety and well being of all persons at our premises will be at the discretion of our staff.

6. WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY
6.1 The website hereinafter the website is owned and operated by Do You Even Escape? hereinafter the company. The company holds the right to amend or vary the terms and conditions below including any of the contents of this website from time to time at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
6.2 The terms and conditions apply to the use of the website by any visitor and should be read carefully before any use or booking.
6.3. The company does its best to supply you with the most up to date and accurate information on the website.
6.4. The website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website without the written consent of the company.
6.5. You are not permitted to link to, or use all or any part of the website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.
6.6. You accept that the Internet is not fully secure. The company will take all appropriate steps to protect your information.
6.7. The company shall not be liable to any person for any direct or indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including (without limitation) lost profits or revenues, loss of opportunity, costs of replacement goods or services, loss or damage to data or business interruption, arising out of any use of the website.

7. PHOTOS AND COMMENTS
7.1. Photos of each team will be taken during and at the end of the game.
7.2. Photos of each team will be stored on our server linked to the booking.
7.3. To remove your photos please notify us at hello@escapereality.com
7.4. Photos may be uploaded to social media sites without names.
7.5. Attendees may comment on the experience at the website. The company has the right to moderate all comments that are not appropriate.
7.6. The Company does not have to explain why comments were refused or deleted. It has full authority over any comments.

8. Waiver
8.1. ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ESCAPE THE ROOM EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.
I certify that I understand this activity has potential risks including but not limited to:
1) Use of simple tools;
2) Potentially moving or lifting objects of not more than twenty pounds;
3) Mental stress and anxiety;
4) Being in a reasonably small space with up to ten persons;
5) Possibility of failure to escape the room in the allotted time.
I have no physical or mental illness that precludes my participation in a safe manner for myself or others. I am not under the influence of drugs or alcohol which impairs my ability to maintain my safety awareness or endangers others.
I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form will be used by the organizers of the activity in which I may participate, and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity. I agree that all staff or authorized agents may, in their sole discretion, determine it is unsafe for myself or others for my participation to continue, remove me from the premises by any lawful means.
In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: The directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents of any and all entities authorizing this activity;
(B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
I acknowledge that the directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents of any authorizing entity are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific activity on their behalf.
I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity.
I understand while participating in this activity, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose this authorizing entity decides, and assigns.
The Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
